Covid-19 first of all shut down routine dentistry, and then when practices opened again, the increased need for extra protective requirements took away much of the social interaction aspects that I enjoyed with my patients.
55 years in dentistry gave me wonderful opportunities to look after my patients long-term with improved materials, techniques and implants.
It was great to see them grow into adulthood and help them to look after and maintain oral and dental good health.
My wife, Linda, and I met singing in the Zemel Choir in 1967. Zemel was, and is still London's and possibly UK's most prominent mixed Jewish choir, founded by Dudley Cohen in 1957. We're still both singing with Zemel, Linda as alto chorister and treasurer and myself as tenor soloist for over 50 years!
Over the years, my singing has given me opportunities to perform as soloist in venues in UK and many other countries. My 'debut' was in the Wigmore Rooms in London and other venues have included the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Purcell Room, St John's Smith Square and a concert attended by the Queen at the Royal Albert Hall
I have 2 classic cars, a 1968 Ford Corsair Crayford and the 1975 Jaguar XJ6 coupe that is a rare convertible.
I have taken part in journeys in UK and across Europe to Israel, reaching Jerusalem on 4 occasions, with the JNF Charity organisation.
